Who I am
I’m Brittany Spire, the creator behind House of Spire - a space where food, astrology, and ritual experience meet. My background blends the grounded craft of culinary arts with the symbolic language of the cosmos. I graduated from the Oregon Culinary Institute and spent years working in fine dining kitchens and private event catering, learning the art of thoughtful hospitality and seasonal cooking. Later, I deepened my study of astrology at the Portland School of Astrology and further developed my astrological education through mentorship and study with Amanda Moreno of Aquarian Spirals. Today, I bring these worlds together to create experiences that feel meaningful, magical, and beautifully shared.
What I do
Through House of Spire, I design immersive food and astrology experiences. I cater gatherings, host themed dining events, and offer tarot and astrological experiences that invite people to connect - with each other, with the moment, and with the rhythms of the sky. My events often weave together seasonal ingredients, astrological timing, symbolic menus, and playful ritual. Whether it’s an intimate dinner, a celestial-themed gathering, or a private event with tarot readings and astrology-inspired food, my goal is to create spaces that feel memorable, soulful, and a little bit enchanted.
How I do it
My approach blends culinary technique with intuitive storytelling. I draw on my training in professional kitchens to craft thoughtful menus, while astrology guides the themes, timing, and symbolism behind each experience. Every gathering begins with a concept - often inspired by planetary movements, lunar cycles, or the archetypes of the zodiac. From there, I translate those ideas into flavor, color, texture, and atmosphere. The result is food that isn’t just served, but experienced - meals and moments designed to spark curiosity, connection, and a sense of cosmic play.
